Name of the clan: An'un (暗雲 - Dark Cloud) Clan

Bloodline name: 'Cascade of Lightning' (ライトニングのカスケード - 'Raitoningu no kasukēdo')

Clan element/'s: STORM

Description: The members of An'un hail from multiple familes, who have demonstrated the potential to combine Lightning and Water into one Released element. As such, there are no distinguishing traits that bind them together, but the 'leadership' of the clan is determined by a trial by combat every decade between the families between two males (family heads) from each facet of the loosely-organized clan.

Special characteristics/traits: Since many families can have the potential, there is no single defining trait binding them all together.

History: It started off as a union between people with similar powers. They realized that the Storm Release, though powerful on its own, was better used in conjunction with other Storm users as well. So, the An'un, Dark Cloud, Clan was born. Though, while they called themselves a clan, the founders disagreed how leadership should be split, as the potential had spread throughout many prominent and lesser known families.

Roughly eighty years ago, the decision was made to have the leadership decided by a trial by combat. A sparring match to determine who had the greatest mastery of the Storm element. Each prominent family (those who held either multiple users of the Storm element, or had at least one member who had achieved great acclaim) was allowed two participants in the match, arranged to be on every decade.

Usually, this cycled between four major families, until one of them fell into shame due to a whole generation lacking the The Bloodline Limit.
... At least until the last trial two years ago, when the last son (his family having been slaughtered under mysterious circumstances) of that distanced family emerged. At the time he was a Jounin of many exploits, being a battle-maniac who delighted in combat ... regardless of the outcome. Unfortunately for the other families, this one man, whose real name was discarded to the winds, had spent most of his years of mastering his skills out in the field against true enemies, while they kept their training limited to controlled circumstances. Needless to say, they lost due to his violent and unpredictable style ... and so the Clan was ruled by the man who called himself 'Jaakuna Shinja.'

The combination of Lightning and Water is a symbolic mixture. While one does not see a storm roll in when the Storm Release is used, one DOES see interesting ... almost fluid manipulations of lightning itself.

Bloodline weaknesses: The water is the weakness. Earth-style ninjutsu, while still nullified due to the Lightning present in a Storm Release technique, can be used to effectively hamper its usefulness since it cannot go any further than the water can ... which would most likely be absorbed by the earth. The weakness must be overcome with sheer force (lots of it).

【 NAME 】
└Kahagi Mutsu┘Kahagi Mutsu is a member of the An-un clan, or storm release clan. Born 34 years ago, he rose through the ranks of ninja at a slow steady pace. He is of lower Japanese descent, with a slightly tanner skin. He was born from two loving parents, with a older sister, younger brother, and two cousins on his mother's side. He was born with dark grey colored eyes, his grey hair constantly having a wispy and windswept look. Kahagi usually wears a green cloak that goes around his shoulders and falls down to around his ankles. Knee high grey boots, with brown slack style pants. He usually wears the standard Kumogakure uniform on occasions that require it, but takes it off as soon as possible. He keeps the hood up, not to be mysterious, but to keep the cold windy conditions out, keeping him warm and not hindering his field of vision. Kahagi stands roughly five foot six inches tall, rather short but nevertheless slightly below average at 145 pounds.

└It takes a mountain to touch the sky┘ Kahagi was one of the younger siblings, having a older bearing sister who tormented throughout his youth. He remembers her fondly, for she disappeared some time ago, letting go of her village's affiliations, she set out into the wild and hasn't been seen since. Kahagi has two older cousins on his mother's side, leading his sister into competition with there oldest son, and mentoring there daughter in the ways of a lady. Kahagi always hung around with them, being the constant youngest of the group, he was often chided and picked on. More often than not, he got into trouble as he was the last one to leave the scene of mischief. Kahagi was devastated what his sister chose to abandon the village, followed by his two cousins within 6 months led to the Mutsu clan being synonymous with abandoning the village. Kahagi has long held this title in a quiet denouement, constantly striving to show actions rather than use words to show his loyalty. He grew slowly, at a slightly retarded pace, spending more time on mastering techniques and there various uses rather than advance with the rest of his friends. Slowly as his family left the village, so too did his friends leave Kahagi, distancing themselves from him and his bad marks. Citing differences in opinion, Kahagi choose to continue to the route regardless of the hardships thrown at him.
Kahagi is a man driven by shear determination and foresight to push forward and constantly do better. He however is closed off and quiet about his actions, taking a long approach to things. Kahagi is known to constantly take things for himself and pick up random items and objects, from both the field of battle and other such places.

└Dark Cloud┘ Ranton is an advanced chakra nature kekkei genkai which allows the user to convert chakra into storm release. Users can create and manipulate electricity as if it was a fluid, often used in conjunction with suiton techniques. As those familes came together, they shared and passed on there secrets to on another. Resulting in a true clan that can be called An'un. By combing Suiton and Raiton, they create fluid like electricity, as well as creating thunderclouds manipulating them. It is said that the clouds generated by an An'un are capable of absorbing chakra and using it as fuel to further there own techniques.

☤ 【 Form/Uses】
└Laser Like Weapons┘ Users of Ranton can manipulate beams of light, while they appear to be light, they are actually highly specialized forms of electricity. A common trait of all the jutsu's, is that they can alter the beams direction after being shot, making it possible to strike multiple enemies with pinpoint accuracy, even bypassing hostages held in close proximity. The user can also increase the number of beams, and the more often its used, the enemy has an increased risk of being blinded
└Dark Cloud Method┘Hailing from the top of the mountains, high above the clouds, this form allows the users to manipulate and form thunderstorms on a micro scale, or macro depending on the size and strength of them. These thunderheads all have the common trait of absorbing chakra, for which enemies entering the clouds become electrocuted and have the added effect of having there chakra drained.

└Blanket Clouds┘Due to there extreme prowess with raiton, members of this clan are highly resistant to other raiton techniques, making fighting one of highly difficult should the user wield raiton against them. This is due to there naturally charged state, all raiton moves used against are decreased by -1 rank. They also have the added benefit of even when covered with water they do not get shocked or such by there own techniques.

☤ 【 Bloodline Weaknesses 】
└Weakness┘Wind Release moves seem to be highly effective against them, blowing away the dark clouds they produce, as well as retarding the effects of there curved beams. Earth Release moves that dry the air also are effective, though not as much as wind release. Ice Release is another foe towards the An'un, there cold attacks are more effective at attacking, giving them an advantage to the chakra absorption of +1 rank when used.

☤ 【 Dark Cloud Ability 】
└Ranton Release: Dark Cloud┘ Utilizing Storm Release kekkei genkai to generate dark clouds that the user manipulates and absorbs chakra, as base levels they work like small forms of Water Release: Mist Rain, and large forms like Great Shark Bullet and Senju Wood Dragon, abate on a slightly lesser form.

All Dark Cloud jutsu's have the follow attachments, wither stated expelling or not.

B-Rank and Under - When Absorbing chakra from techniques, they only work on techniques of a lower rank, the same rank or higher will have nothing drained and will destroy/remove the effects. At this stage, they can not absorb wind release techniques of a lower rank. They last for only 2 posts before more chakra is needed to keep them up.

A-Rank and Above - negates techniques of lower rank and takes away 50% of the chakra used on them, giving itself a power up. They can negate wind release techniques only 2 ranks below, and Ice Release only up to one rank below. At this stage, the same rank will be negated as well, however higher ranks will destroy/remove these effects. They only last for 4 posts before more chakra is needed to keep them up

When used on an opponent (passing through the cloud, or standing in it) it leeches a C rank amount of chakra per post, and shocks the opponent a small voltage of D rank per post, which comes from the absorption. The more people there, the higher ranked voltage at a field of +1 for every two in the cloud. The user can dictate who and who will not have there chakra absorbed.

When using Beam style attacks, the greater number that has been used, the higher chance the opponent has of being blinded. At a rate of Rank + 4 Beam style attacks used. Where Genin Rank = 1, and S rank = 5

Description:Forms up 3 small clouds about the size of a football, each to be controlled by the user, when they hit, they create a vortex of lightning around the opponent, shocking them with a C rank worth. This technique is dangerous as can suck in the other clouds up to 5 meters away, causing a B rank worth of shocking over 15 meters to anyone in the area.

Description: Create a shadow clone, following the shadow clone rules. However, upon impact/attack. The clone creates a vortex of dark clouds around the area for up to 20 meters, absorbing a c rank worth of chakra a post for 3 posts to anyone in the area should the user wish.

Description: This technique creates several beams and shoots them at the enemy. First, a halo of bright energy spreads around the user's hands as this technique is activated, then the technique encircles the user's hand and from that the beams are shot out towards the enemy. The user is able to alter the beams direction after being shot, making it possible to strike multiple enemies with pinpoint accuracy, even bypassing hostages held in close proximity. The user can increase the number of beams to a great amount to pin down an enemy. At base, 12 beams are fired, with an additional D rank, 4 more beams can be added.

Description: Using Storm Release to generate a thick ring of thunderclouds and electricity around them, creating an offensive and defensive ward. They can then use these clouds to fire powerful blasts of lightning at there enemies, and as an electrified perimeter; effectively preventing his enemies from getting close. With a cost of 1 C rank per bolt of electricity fired, as well as the ability to mold the clouds into forms they wish within that perimeter. Only lasts for 2 posts, C rank additional cost upkeep

Description: Through the use of Storm Release users are able to produce a massive thunder cloud capable of absorbing chakra to grow in size, strength and ferocity. The amount of chakra it receives will also increase. Absorbing techniques of a lower rank and using it as fuel for the storm, the user can fire off bolts of lightning at a cost of 1 per B rank. When absorbing, it takes 50% of the reiatsu to fuel itself. The user can dictate for what purposes that chakra is used for. Lasts for 4 posts with a A rank post upkeep. If it absorbs another S rank technique, it grows in strength and power, granting the user 3 bolts free of charge, and giving it an additional 4 posts of duration.
